The K-4 submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) was developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Designed to equip India’s nuclear-powered submarines, this missile offers strategic capabilities comparable to those of global powers like the US, Russia, and China.
Unlike its predecessor, INS Arihant, which is armed with the 750-kilometer-range K-15 missiles, INS Arighaat boasts the capability to launch the K-4 missile.
