5000 Pakistani Nationals Identified in Delhi

Must Read

In a development that has stunned many, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has handed over a list of around 5000 Pakistani nationals residing in New Delhi to the city police for urgent action (ANI, 27 April 2025). Following the Centre’s strong directive after the brutal Pahalgam terror attack. The visas of these nationals have been revoked, and they have been asked to return home immediately.

The Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) shared the list with the Delhi Police’s Special Branch, who further distributed it among district police units for verification and enforcement. These actions come as part of a wider crackdown on any potential internal threat after Pakistani-backed terror once again spilt innocent blood on Indian soil.

Importantly, the government clarified that Hindu Pakistani nationals holding Long Term Visas (LTVs) are exempted from this order.

“Central and North East districts have a high number of Pakistani nationals living in the area,” a senior Delhi Police official confirmed (ANI).

Authorities have reportedly compiled two separate lists — one with 3000 names and another with 2000 — though some entries overlap and are undergoing verification. Many individuals have already left India voluntarily, officials noted.

Alongside, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued a sweeping order: all Pakistani visas (except medical, diplomatic, and LTVs) have been revoked, effective 27 April 2025. Even existing medical visas will stand invalid after 29 April 2025.

A Reality India Can No Longer Ignore (Pakistani Nationals)

While this move comes in direct reaction to the Pahalgam attack. it also exposes a much larger national blind spot that had gone unnoticed for years. Why were thousands of citizens from an enemy nation allowed to reside freely in India?

After decades of betrayal — from the Kargil war to Mumbai 26/11, to Pulwama, to now Pahalgam. India’s patience with Pakistan has finally worn thin. Yet shockingly, while Pakistan exported terror, its nationals lived peacefully inside India’s capital city, some for years.

This was not just benevolence—it was recklessness.

Every Pakistani national inside India is not automatically a threat, but every Pakistani national represents a potential national security risk given the history of hostility, terror links, and deep-state penetration attempts by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.

Marriage to Pakistani nationals should not be treated lightly either. As recently seen, many Indian Muslim women married to Pakistani men have been caught up in the visa revocations. These marriages create legal loopholes and security risks. Not only do they open pathways for questionable residency claims, but they also risk exposing future generations to hostile ideologies.

Children of such marriages, often holding Pakistani citizenship or growing up under strong Pakistani influence, are vulnerable to indoctrination that undermines India’s national interests. India must tighten citizenship norms, revoke citizenship or long-term residency of spouses of Pakistani nationals, and close all avenues that could be exploited against the country’s securit

Why “Never Again” Must Mean Never Again (Pakistani Nationals)

The goodwill India showed for decades was weaponized against it. The “humanitarianism” India extended by granting medical visas, tourist visas, or marriage permits was repaid with terror attacks, infiltration bids, and radicalization attempts.

India opened its heart; Pakistan returned the favor with bloodshed.

From now on, it must be zero tolerance:

  • No visas without stringent, verifiable checks.

  • No long-term stays for citizens of nations hostile to India.

  • No loopholes exploited through marriage or medical excuses.

The 5000 Pakistanis identified in Delhi is not just a security lapse.
It is a moral slap to every Indian who has lost family members to terrorism.

National Security Comes First

India has always tried to act like the bigger nation, extending goodwill even to those who didn’t deserve it. But the time for naive idealism is over.

The Pakistani establishment has consistently shown that friendship is not their goal. Survival, security, and sovereignty must now be India’s priority — without apology.

Sending back these nationals is not cruelty. It’s National Security Requirements.

It’s time to choose safety over sentiment, policy over pity, and defense over delusion.
