BJP MLA and leader of Opposition from West Bengal, Mr. Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday, said that the party’s “Sabka Saath Sabka Vishwas” is unnecessary. Instead of this slogan, he suggested that the party should work for the betterment of those who support them and the national development.
While addressing the state’s first working committee meeting in Kolkata, Mr Adhikari, stated, “I had spoken about nationalist Muslims and you too had said ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. But I will not say this anymore. Instead, we will now say, ‘Jo Hamare Saath, Hum Unke Saath’. Stop this ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. Minority Morcha is not needed.”

Now, Hindu voters are not being allowed to vote.” Mr. Adhikari, also claimed that the TMC “goons” had not allowed free and fair elections in West Bengal.
However, his statement sparked a controversy, to which Mr. Adhikari clarified that his statement has been taken out of context. He clarified by posting the following on X, “My statement is being taken out of context. I am clear that those who are Nationalists, stand for this Nation and Bengal, we should be with them. Those who don’t stand with us, work against the interest of Nation and Bengal, we need to expose them.” He emphasised that he embodies in letter and spirit the PM’s call for “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” slogan.
