On 22nd April 2025, the serene valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir was turned into a graveyard. Twenty-eight innocent civilians were murdered. The targets were Hindu male tourists – who were brutally gunned down by Islamic terrorists. The attack was deliberate, targeted, and driven by religious hatred – victims were asked their names, their religion, and even forced to drop their pants to check if they were circumcised. If not, they were executed on the spot.
And yet, as India mourned, the global media began its usual whitewashing of the truth. They twist words to shield terrorists and vilify India. The Western Media controlled by the Deep State is doing everything to save Pakistan’s reputation.
Pahalgam Terrorists Become ‘Gunmen’: Al Jazeera’s Editorial Gymnastics
Qatar is the lodestar for all terrorist activities. And their state-run media Al Jazeera specializes in turning victims into perpetrators. Their clever half-truths present a skewed version of Pahalgam’s attack with chilling indifference. Their headline read: “Armed men open fire on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir…”
Instead of calling it a terror attack, Al Jazeera put “terrorist attack” in air quotes in their article, as if it were a matter of debate.
This isn’t new. Al Jazeera has a documented pattern of calling Islamic terrorists “gunmen,” “armed men,” or “militants.” They will use anything but what they really are: Jihadi terrorists. Al Jazeera’s sympathies lie exposed and their agenda is clear: Legitimize Islamic Violence in Kashmir while Demonizing Indian Security Efforts!
Dawn of Deceit: Pakistan’s ‘The Dawn’ Bows to Its Masters
Nobody expects honesty from Pakistan’s media, especially in the face of the spiraling relationship between the two nations! But ‘Dawn’ in its coverage, didn’t just lie – it completely whitewashed the Islamic terror attack of Pahalagm. It even tried to reframe Kashmir as a disputed territory by using the term “India-Occupied Kashmir” (IOK) multiple times, reinforcing Pakistan’s official line.
For Pakistani media – the killers were just “gunmen,” the victims were anonymous, and the massacre was portrayed as just another incident in a “restive” region.
Worse, Dawn described Pahalgam as a ‘Muslim-majority area’, subtly implying that such an incident of anti-Hindu violence is justified. They even referred to the Islamic terror outfit of TRF, an offshoot of LeT, as ‘Kashmir Resistance.’ They wanted to display this Hinduphibic Islamic terrorism as an action of a “little-known group” – trying to decouple the LeT narrative from the whole situation.
Washington Post: Selective Sympathy and Strategic Amnesia
The Washington Post also chose the term “gunmen” over “terrorists.” And the Islamic nature of the violence was completely hidden. There was no mention of how all the terrorists were Muslims, and neither was there a mention of how Hindus were asked their religion before being shot. The Washington Post’s washing machine didn’t stop there.
Their report claimed the attackers opened fire “without discrimination” – a blatant lie.
Multiple survivors confirmed the terrorists were conducting religious profiling. They checked their pants, asked “Are you Muslim?” and told people to recite the Kalma. Anyone unable to prove themselves as a Muslim was shot point-blank. Yet, The Post’s version of reality ignores all this and instead focuses on one “Abdul Wahid” who rescued victims – attempting to twist the narrative towards the “Good Muslim” angle. As if the horrors faced by Hindus were an exception, not the norm.
The report even accused Indian authorities of “cracking down on dissent” in Muslim-majority areas, subtly blaming India for radicalizing its own people – as if Hindu mass murder was a form of Islamic protest.
BBC and New York Times: Spinning Propaganda on Pahalgam
The British state-funded BBC suffers from its imperial hangover and Deep State control. Its coverage of the Pahalgam attack followed the same tired script: Jammu and Kashmir is “India-administered Kashmir.” The terrorists were “gunmen.” The area is “Muslim-majority.” And the final nail in the coffin is that the violence is described as “separatist insurgency.”
BBC went a step further – accusing India of deploying 5 lakh soldiers in Kashmir – trying to frame Bharat as an “occupying force” rather than a sovereign state protecting its people!
Meanwhile the New York Times got a tight rebuke by the US House Committee for its biased reporting. The paper also tried to toe the Deep State line of militant and Indian Administered Kashmir! The adminsitration put out a public correction on behalf of the paper to highlight thei rreporting bias!
Global Media and Its Narrative Engineering: When Lies Kill Truth
By twisting words on Pahalgam, these global media houses are not just misreporting—they are distorting reality. Additionally, they are enabling Islamic terrorist propaganda by providing soft cover to radical Islamism.
Their use of the term “gunmen” sanitizes mass murder.
Their framing of Kashmir as “disputed” echoes Pakistan’s lies. Them calling Pahalgam as part of India Administered Kashmir – shows their political approval of Pakistan’s invasion of Kashmir! Their omission of religious profiling of Hindus in the attack buries the victims’ truth under layers of calculated vagueness.
This isn’t journalism – It’s narrative warfare.
Domestic Dissonance: Indian Politicians and Papers Echo Foreign Bias
Shamefully, parts of India’s own media and political class echoed these foreign distortions.
Instead of condemning the Islamic terrorists, they rushed to state that this was not an attack on Hindus, Refusing to believe the survivors, the opposition leaders are trying to divert attention from the religious persecution central to Pahalgam’s attack. Instead, some of them are asking -“Who benefits from this?”. As if hinting the ruling party orchestrated the Hindu massacre as a “false flag” – inadvertently echoing Pakistan’s talking points!
Congress-friendly influencers are debating the “timing” of the attacks while INC’s official handle calls the terrorist gunmen!
The Hindu tries to amply Pakistan’s action while downplaying India’s strategies in its headlines. It also uses the term “Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir” in its articles. The opposition and Deep State Indian media houses ignore the Islamic identity and the religious profiling of the attack. They only want to find an angle to increase their political currency in the upcoming elections!
It’s clear – The LeLi Deep State ecosystem sees terrorism as a political opportunity, not a national crisis.
Call Pahalgam What It Is – Terrorism, Not Tragedy
The attack in Pahalgam was not a “clash,” not a “protest,” not a “shootout,” and definitely not an act by mere “gunmen.” It was a cold-blooded, religiously motivated terrorist massacre.
Media outlets – whether in Qatar, Pakistan, America, Britain, or India—that refuse to use the term “terrorist” are complicit in emboldening terror.
Anyone opposing the Hinduphobic nature of the Pahalgam Islamic terrorist attack is not reporting news. They are curating a perception to match their chosen narrative. As India fights its battles on the ground and diplomatic corridors, it must also fight back in the narrative space – loudly, unapologetically, and truthfully.
Because if you can’t name your enemy, you’ll never defeat them.
