A recent incident in West Bengal has prompted Saba Naqvi to take an unexpected stance. A couple was brutally thrashed with sticks in a Kangaroo Court in Chopra. The thrashing was done by a local TMC goon named JCB, aka Tajmul Haque. This man is assumed to be a close associate of the TMC MLA of Chopra and is stated to be under his protection.

The MLA of Chopra, Hamidul Rehman, spoke to the media and colored the incident further. He said that the local justice system that Chopra allows is something Muslim Rashtra practices. Thus, while condemning the act, the MLA presented the Muslim-dominant region as having a Taliban-like Sharia in place. This has added fuel to the raging fire of social media outrage! The Bengal Police are trying to conduct damage control by filing cases against all social media handles who speak on the incident.

The video of the assault was first posted by a CPI(M) Muslim supporter. Reports state that the man finds himself thrown out of the house. His crime was ensuring that the reality of Chopra’s justice system was leaked to the public. Thus, since the source of the video is a Muslim, the ‘sickulars’ believe in its authenticity. Thereby, asking many questions about both the flogging and the social injustice to the whistleblower in West Bengal.

To these illegal infiltrators, the laws of Bharat hold no water. They prefer to hold Islam above the Constitution. And so the Kangaroo Court and its justice is more respected than the laws of the nation. The MLA’s acceptance of “Muslim Rashtra rules” proves that West Bengal is no longer on the brink of collapse, its demise into degeneracy seems to have already begun. It seems that sections of the state where illegal immigrants were granted safe haven are now a place without constitutional protection.
Thus, critics argue that Bengal will soon become a Sharia-ruled state under CM Mamata Banerjee’s watch.
In such circumstances, voices like Saba Naqvi will be first to find themselves in hot water. The Muslim Rashtra is especially unkind to progressive women. The Niqab and Burqa, which ‘secular’ Muslims call a choice, become compulsory. Females are alienated under the Hijab and silenced under Sharia. Thus, in a Muslim Rashtra, secularism dies a painful death. Hence, the condemnation of the incident by Saba Naqvi shows her growing awareness of the fragile balance of secularism in Bharat. Because they have been peeling the alarm bell over the situation in West Bengal. So its a form of a ‘I Told You So’ dance for many! However, her condemnation caught many Muslism off guard, given her usual pro-Muslim stance. Naqvi’s public denouncement of the incident marks a significant shift in her narrative. It suggests she realizes that radical elements within the Muslim community are a danger to voices like hers as well.
Thus, Saba Naqvi’s condemnation is more about self-preservation than social justice.
Naqvi’s statement is particularly significant because it highlights that progressive Muslims will soon need the protection of Hindus from their own community. Consequently, Bharat hopes that this stance is like a mirror to her Muslim followers which shows the reality of Islamic Sharia and radicalism within the Muslim community. Opposing extremism and Jihad is not just the need of the hour for Hindus. Thus, Muslims who enjoy the freedoms in Bharat need to stand up against such radical mindsets and their violent actions. Else, before the Hindu Samaj faces the last fight for existence, the progressive Muslims will fight their first fight against oppression.
And in both fights the opponent will be a religious zealot who has forsaken his mental acuity on the alter of the ’72 Hoors’ promise.
