Must Read

Rahul Gandhi showcased why he is called Pappu by the public in a Congress press conference. The media mela was meant to shine the media spotlight on the Congress’s demands for a Joint Parliamentary Committee or JPC investigation. Investigate what? Well, Rahul Gandhi wants the parliament to hold PM Modi and Amit Shah for the Rs. 3 trillion stock market loss. However, his ego and self-delusion managed to show the true face of Rahul Gandhi. Pappu managed to steal the spotlight in his own show by showcasing his intolerance and arrogance.

During this blame-game press conference, the Aaj Tak reporter Mausami asked a pointed question. She asked if the JPC would be effective or just another way of wasting the precious time and money of the tax-payers. Afterall, the market was recovering fast after the BJP to assemble its allies!

Instead of addressing the question with any semblance of respect or intelligence, Rahul Gandhi went on to attack the journalist. He did not let her finish and interrupted with his now famous media response “Yeh toh BJP ki line hai.” However, his reaction didn’t stop there. He continued to attack Mausami by accusing her of being a BJP agent. Rahul Gandhi even went on to ask if he should gift her a BJP T-shirt!

On Jairam Ramesh’s interruption, the reporter was able to complete her question. However, in response, Rahul Gandhi continued to mock her and her question. As usual, he was unable to answer the questions of the media and his go-to response was a 2-year-old’s method of ‘Attack is the best form of Defence’! It looked like Mausami dealt him a googly that his ego was unprepared for!!

Aaj Tak reporter Mausami stands with Congress on most issues. She also sometimes asks bytes that may generate sensational public responses. However, such is the life of a journalist. Their quest is not just for answers but also TRPs. Unfortunatley for Mausami, Rahul Gandhi’s attack did not end with his venomous response at the press conference. He went home and put to work his entire social media machinery to work for him on social media channels.

However, his unhinged response and actions backfired badly. Prominent Pro-Congress journalists, like Rajdeep Sardesai and Ajit Anjum, stood up for Mausami. Yuvraaj Rahul Gandhi’s baseless accusations on a supportive journalists are being questioned. His behavior and arrogance are being noted by all stakeholders in media.

Is This A Looser’s Tantrum Or A Scion’s Arrgance At Display By Rahul Gandhi?

Rahul Gandhi’s behavior is a textbook example of his notorious arrogance. With Congress only clubbing together 100 seats, he seems to have deluded himself into believing this is a personal victory. His reaction to a simple question revealed his true colors: an intolerant leader who lacks seasoning and maturity.

If this is how he acts with just 100 MPs, imagine the disaster if he had more power.

His actions show he is still a Pappu in politics. He may have ridden the anti-incumbency wave to get 99+1 in the General Elections. However, his self-grandior is unfit to handle any responsibilities of leadership. Thus, his hate for the media shows his petulance. Something that a democracy like Bharat always rejects.

Bharat Deserves Better

This small media incident is a glaring reminder of the Congress Scion’s sense of entitlement. Rahul Gandhi’s media meltdown and subsequent attacks on a journalist reflect his unsuitability for higher office. The people of Bharat deserve leaders who can engage in respectful and constructive dialogue, even with detractors.

However, the fractured mandate delivered in the BJP’s favor has still handed these power-crazy entitled hate-mongers access to additional arrogance.

Hopefully, the people of India will introspect and choose better governance the next time. Otherwise, their arrogance and petty vendettas will become the biggest roadblock on the road of Bharat Resurgence. And the cost of the political drama will be borne by Bharat’s public, which deserves far better than what Still-A-Pappu Rahul Gandhi has to offer!
