BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala ignited the spark by announcing the creation of Legal Hindu Defence on X. He sounded the clarion to rally the Hindu community with this fiery declaration.
“अब याचना नहीं, रण होगा |”
This was not just a call for Hindus to unite to expose and push back at the INDI ecosystem. It was also a call for the legal forces that wanted to help the Hindus to unite in an organized manner. Legal Hindu Defence calls upon the youth, NGOs, influencers, and distinguished Hindu lawyers or legal interns. Anyone who wishes to join this noble cause and take on pro-bono cases is welcome. The group’s strategy is to unite on WhatsApp and have an accessible social media presence. Thereafter, they aim to build a formidable network of legal experts and volunteers in every state. Eventually they hope to extend support in every district. Hence, ensuring that support is always within reach for those Hindus in need.
The idea is to create a legal fortress that can withstand and repel any assault on Hindu rights and freedoms.
The success of the group will depend on the Hindu community itself! Are Hindus willing to come forth to fight for their own causes? Are they strong enough to bear the relentless barrage of anti-Hindu attacks launched every day? Will they group stay undivided and focussed despite the ever-widening caste lines? Who knows! However, the answers to these questions will account for the success of this initiative.

- Combating Hindu Hatred: Another aim is to file cases against hate speech and propaganda targeting Hindus. Hence, the group aims to stem the tide of anti-Hindu narratives and promote a more balanced and truthful discourse.
- Busting Anti-National Narratives: The Legal Hindu Defence aims to be active on social media. Hopefully, unlike the BJP IT Cell, it will work tirelessly to dismantle fake news and misinformation that undermine national unity and societal harmony.
- Building Legal Assets: The initiative seeks to establish a comprehensive repository of legal experts, resources, and volunteers in every state and district. Ultimately, it will ensure that no Hindu is left defenseless in the land of their forefathers.
