Must Read

US political scientist Ian Bremmer acknowledged the truth of developing Bharat under PM Modi at the India Today Conclave. While talking about how shrewdly this new India is positioning India itself as a leader of the global south, he also spoke of enemies of Bharat. However, he shocked the world when said that PM Modi’s enemies are not outside but from inside the nation. This acknowledgment from a Western analyst proves two theories correct! Let’s explore!

At the recently held India Today Conclave, Ian Bremmer reiterated that Modi’s India is one of the few unabashedly positive stories on the global stage. As an unbiased analyst, he spoke very favorably of India’s global strategy of drawing countries closer. He also compared Bharat’s rise to that of China. Here he said that while China’s rise has been ideological, India’s approach is pragmatic and inclusive.

He says “India has established more durable relations with Europe, Japan, and the United States,” he said.

Thus, in his opinion, India is viewed by the declining West as a stable and attractive partner. According to Ian Bremmer, India is navigating a multi-polar economic world effectively. Unlike what is projected by some global media channels, PM Modi’s leadership had a crucial role in Bharat’s growth story. Thereby, making the country an attractive investment destination and a long-time partner of choice

Ian Bremmer On False Narratives and Domestic Enemies

Despite his glowing words of praise, Ian Bremmer also spoke of the need for caution. As per Bremmer, select journalists and anti-national forces from within India are trying to misrepresent the nation and its success. These people propagate false narratives in international circles to appease their Western masters. Moreover, these narratives paint a distorted picture of India to hurt and contradict the positive global outlook.

These enemies aren’t just global; they’re deeply entrenched in the nation’s society. Thus, these detractors present false narratives that derail India’s progress by attacking PM Modi and his initiatives. Consequently, their falsehoods create doubt and chaos in the nation. However, the reality is different.

Western Media and The Global Perspective

Although Western media is starting to recognize PM Modi’s positive impact on India, it’s difficult for most of them to change their habit of Modi-bashing. As Bremmer noted India’s growth, while not as rapid as China’s, is based on stable and durable international relationships.

Bharat knows these media ‘drohis’! Outlets like The Guardian, The Print, The Wire, and many others like to focus on the wrong microelements to deny Bharat’s durable and organic growth! Many nations see India as an attractive investment destination, which could lead to increased GDP, FDI, employment, and ultimately upliftment of poverty. However, the media outlets ensure that PM Modi’s leadership and India’s progress are played down. This directly impacts the economic prospects of the nation. Add to the mix that angle of communal disharmony or minority oppression and investors flee due to fear of prospective harassment. Thus, media play a significant role in perception management against the Rise of Bharat.

With the exception of Canada, India is navigating a multi-polar economic world effectively. The Modi administration has positioned Bharat very strategically as a bridge to the West and as a leader of the Global South. This dual role has enhanced India’s value on the world stage. However, Ian Bremmer cautioned that India’s rise isn’t inevitable. The enemies within sponsored by the miscreants outside are huge challenges. And both the global and domestic difficulties will need to be addressed by PM Modi if he wants to make Bharat a Global Power!

Embrace the Truth, Reject the Lies

India’s journey to becoming a global powerhouse is filled with potential and challenges. As old Western media outlets grapple with their inability to deny Bharat’s truth, the wise voices of the West have a newfound recognition of PM Modi’s role in India’s rise. They are willing to give a testament to the positive trajectory of Bharat. Yet, within the country, anti-national forces work to derail this progress.

Thus, false narratives spread by these detractors must be rejected. Vocally and otherwise, Bharat needs to speak up for itself. In today’s vicious world, the ‘turn the other cheek’ syndrome will only get Bharat’s face slapped twice!!! Thus, every voice and every debunking of a false narrative matters. They show the world the truth that cannot be hidden under clever rhetorics of the detractors. And because only when Bharat stands united can it demands to be respected in the world. Therefore, let’s embrace the truth of India’s growth story. Let the watching world know and acknowledge that India is once more the land of opportunity!!!
