Empty Promises by Kejriwal: “Peaceful” Imams Got Fooled!

Must Read

Remember when Arvind Kejriwal promised salaries for Imams to sweeten the deal for Delhi’s Muslim voters? Turns out, those salaries never arrived! The only thing that seems to be paid for is the luxury of Kejriwal’s Sheesh Mahal – complete with expensive curtains and designer commodes.

Recently the Imams protested against Kejriwal for failing to pay their promised Rs 16,000-18,000! However, the protest only helped showcase the AAP Supremo top is living a good life. But that’s just one chapter in a long book of Kejriwal’s broken promises. Let’s take a deeper look into the scams that have plagued Delhi under his rule.

The Woes of the Imams : A Bitter “Peaceful” Truth

It’s been 17 months since the Imams and Muezzins of Delhi’s Waqf Board have seen a paycheck. They took their grievances straight to Kejriwal’s doorstep – only to be turned away by security. These Imams, who had hoped for a bit of justice, found themselves faced with nothing but empty promises.

The “peacefuls” had voted for this salary that was supposed to be a guarantee, a lifeline, but all they got were delays, excuses, and a waiting line.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal’s AAP gave assurances, scheduled meetings, and told them what they wanted to hear. Why? They hope that the Imams will ensure their votebank does not stray way from the party! But after months of delays, it’s clear: the only thing guaranteed in Kejriwal’s Delhi is disappointment. The Imams aren’t the only ones scammed by these false promises – Delhi women, too, were promised financial aid, which was never received.

Kejriwal and AAP Scams: A Record of Deceit

The unpaid “peaceful” salaries are just the tip of the iceberg. Kejriwal’s reign in Delhi has been marked by a series of scams and unfulfilled promises. The most notable is the ongoing issue of the free electricity and water promise, which sounds great on paper but never fully materialized.

Many Delhiites still struggle with inconsistent supply and inflated bills despite Kejriwal’s assurances that free services would be their new normal.

AAP’s very own Puppet CM Malena even promised to waive the hiked-up electricity bills if AAP was voted into power! Meaning, if you vote for anyone else, they will make you pay the illegitimate dues billed to your address. Conveniently, she framed AAP as the only choice to get rid of inflated bills or other payments!

Let’s talk about the Mohalla Clinics, another AAP flagship project that was supposed to revolutionize healthcare in Delhi. While Kejriwal made grand announcements, the reality was far from the promises. These clinics were often understaffed, underfunded, and lacked essential resources. Fake tests, fake medicines, and fake patients helped AAP scam Bharat to the tune of crores.

Additionally, there were Ghost workers found in a Rs.250 crore scam related to Kejriwal’s shelter homes! What was touted as a lifeline for the poor turned out to be a token gesture to win votes, with little long-term impact.

Leave aside the siphoning of funds, the liquor gate, and the fake voter ID scams, the failed Yamuna water cleaning project is another example of failed AAP political promises!

Time and again, Kejriwal and his ministers have been caught in an endless battle with the central government over the control of Delhi. Kejriwal, who claims to be the savior of the common man, has consistently used a “faked power struggle” as an excuse for his inability to deliver basic services. The only thing he’s truly delivered is drama, playing the victim while conveniently sidestepping accountability for his own failures.

The “Peaceful” Irony

But let’s talk about the real kicker. Kejriwal’s political strategy wasn’t just about freebies; it was about appeasing the “peacefuls.” While Imams were promised government salaries, asper the SC, no such gesture was ever extended to Pujaris or Pundits. No, the only thing Kejriwal and his cabal truly delivered to Hindus was well-decorated personal home and a bigger ego.

And what did the Hindus get in return for 10 years of misgovernance? Simple. Free water, free electricity – but only sometimes!

AAP’s promises to Hindus were as empty as the promises made to the Imams. Delhi’s public didn’t ask for Sheesh Mahals – they asked for basic services. Instead, they got a man who thought throwing out promises was the same as delivering on them. With Punjab as a border state, all the Delhi public gets in return for its votes is protestors jamming the freeway! The common man is done with AAP and its “peaceful” appeasement! Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegals get free housing and water, while poor Delhiites deal with garbage mismanagement and water logging! Yet, Kejriwal keeps parroting the same promises for votes, year after year.

The Real Question: Will Delhi Let Kejriwal Get Away with It?

Now, with the Delhi elections around the corner, Kejriwal is hoping that his tired promises will still win him votes. He has increased the free electricity units. Additionally, he has thrown in free bus rides! Moreover, he promises to increase the amount for women under his Mahila Samman yojna! But like the protesting Imams, the general public has learned.

Kejriwal’s promises are as hollow as his political stunts.

Hopefully, Delhi will finally wake up and vote for a change. Delhi deserves better than a man who talks a good game but fails to deliver. It’s time to stop giving a free pass to Kejriwal and his band of deceivers. With the Delhi elections just around the corner, let’s hope the public is ready to make a change and give Kejriwal and AAP the boot!
