Rana Ayyub: A Hate” Toolkit” Finally Caught in the Act

For years, Rana Ayyub has used her platform to spread venom. Her targets are usually nationalists and Hindus. She mocks Hindu deities and questions traditions. Whether it was glorifying Ravan over Ram or trivializing Mata Sita’s and Draupadi’s ordeals, she did not hesitate. She loves to mock and launch baseless attacks on Veer Savarkar and other national idols.

Rana Ayyub has always been at the forefront of anti-Hindu propaganda.

In 2013, her post glorified Ravan, comparing him favorably to Bhagwan Ram. In 2014, she ranted and mocked Hindu epics. These were not witty criticisms but deliberate attempts to insult the faith of millions. They may also be a way to misguide the mindset of the emerging youth of Bharat. Her words, coming from powerful platforms, presented traditional beliefs as regressive and incorrect! Thus, she deliberately tried to alienate the Indian youth from its roots!

Even worse, her posts on the Indian Army, such as accusing them of targeting civilians without evidence, reveal her commitment to undermining India’s institutions.

Advocate Amita Sachdeva’s complaint meticulously outlined these inflammatory posts. She highlights how Ayyub’s statements promoted enmity, hurt religious sentiments, and disrupted communal harmony. Thereby, making the Delhi Court note that the gravity of the allegations necessitated state intervention.

Delhi Court’s Verdict: Enough Is Enough

On 25th January 2025, the Chief Judicial Magistrate of the Saket Court ruled that the allegations against Rana Ayyub revealed prima facie cognizable offenses under IPC Sections 153A (promoting enmity between groups), 295A (outraging religious feelings), and 505 (statements inducing public mischief).

The court’s scathing remarks underscored the seriousness of Ayyub’s actions.

It directed the Cyber Police Station South to file an FIR and conduct a fair investigation, emphasizing the need for swift action. The FIR, finally registered on January 27, serves as a reminder that hate speech disguised as journalism will no longer be tolerated.

LeLi Meltdown: Award Hate, Cry Foul

Predictably, the LeLi gang will soon spring into action, portraying Ayyub as a victim of a “right-wing conspiracy.” They conveniently ignored the fact that her posts were not only offensive but also incendiary. They deliberately target the religious beliefs of a majority community. Her hypocrisy is striking: she cheers fundamentalist points of view but decries any traditional Hindu perspective. The ED is also investigating Rana Ayyub of money laundering in the name of COVID-19 relief funds!

Let’s not forget that Rana Ayyub has been celebrated on international platforms for her anti-BJP, anti-Bharat narratives.

Her book, “Gujarat Files” – which catapulted her to fame, reads like a wanna-be spy novel. The alleged tapes and recordings she speaks of have never seen the light of day! Her words and her status seem to be a manifestation of her consistent efforts to malign India in the global arena. And the LeLi ecosystem pays its toolkit well! She “earned” many awards, proving that hate is rewarding as long as it aligns with the “Toolkit” agenda. Thus, the FIR is a much-needed reality check for those who believe they can reap benefits by insulting Bharat, its Army, and its culture with impunity.

A Wake-Up Call for Propagandists

The FIR against Rana Ayyub is a turning point in the fight against the blatant misuse of free speech to spread hatred. While dissent is a cornerstone of democracy, Rana Ayyub’s actions were far from dissent – they were deliberate provocations designed to divide and offend.

As the investigation unfolds, it serves as a message to other self-proclaimed “urban Naxals” that Bharat is no longer a soft target.

The law will hold accountable those who insult its gods, defame its institutions, and incite disharmony. Thus, this FIR is more than a legal action – it is a symbolic victory for millions of Hindus who have endured decades of slander and mockery.

Justice has begun its slow course and the clean-up of hate-filled narratives is well underway – Jai Hind!
