In October 2021, the VHP demanded the enactment of laws to curb such activities, aiming to preserve the sanctity of Punjab’s diverse religious landscape.
Thus, the saga of Pastor Bajinder Singh serves as a cautionary tale for Sleeping Sanatanis. Unchecked religious evangelism intertwined with personal ambition always dooms the state and its people. While offering fake solace and stages miracle cures, many harvesters of souls exploit faith for personal gain. Thereby, violating Indian laws and the trust of naive followers. Such “prophets” not only harm individuals but also disrupt societal harmony. Hence, as Punjab grapples with the aftermath of Pastor Bajinder, his Church Glory and Wisdom poses a challenge. Will the AAP administration protect Sanatanis from this agressive “Church”? Who knows!
Until then, the Sanatanis of Punjab need awareness and legal safeguards to that new “prophet” does not take the place of Bajinder in the vaccum of power.
