Target Mahakumbh? ISI-Linked Babbar Khalsa Terrorist Arrested

Must Read

A sinister plot to attack the grand Mahakumbh 2025 has been foiled with the arrest of ISI-backed Babbar Khalsa terrorist Lajar Masih. The joint operation by Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Punjab Police led to the capture of the extremist in Amritsar, exposing a deadly Khalistani-Pakistani nexus that sought to disrupt one of India’s largest spiritual gatherings.

Masih, a key operative working for Swarn Singh alias Jeevan Fauji, the Germany-based head of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), was in direct contact with Pakistan’s ISI. Authorities seized a cache of arms and explosives, including three active hand grenades, two active detonators, a foreign-made pistol, and 13 cartridges. Investigators now believe that the Mahakumbh was the prime target, but tight security under CM Yogi Adityanath’s administration thwarted the terror plan before it could be executed.

This arrest is a major breakthrough, but it also exposes the deep frustration of Pakistan and Khalistani extremists, whose attempts to sow discord in India continue to fail under the Modi-Yogi administration.

Mahakumbh: A Thorn in the Eye of Pakistan and Khalistanis

The Mahakumbh 2025 was the world’s largest spiritual Sanatani gathering. It became the symbol of Bharat’s rising power and Sanatana Dharma’s unmatched cultural unity. More the 60 crore devotees, including Sikhs who honor the true legacy of the 10 Gurus and Indian Muslims who respect their Sanatani roots, participated in the event.

The grand success of Mahakumbh – a spiritual, cultural, and logistical marvel – was an unbearable sight for anti-India forces.

However, for Pakistan’s ISI and Khalistani extremists, this unity was intolerable. The successful hosting of the event shattered their propaganda that India is divided along religious lines. Instead, Hindus, Sikhs, and Sanatani-proud Muslims came together in reverence of India’s sacred heritage. This posed a direct challenge to the ISI-Khalistani narrative of separatism, making Mahakumbh a prime target.

Had Babbar Khalsa’s Lajar Masih and his handlers succeeded, the blood of innocent pilgrims would have stained the sacred waters of the Sangam. Additionally, the global image of India as a peaceful, thriving civilization would have been tarnished. Furthermore, PM Modi and CM Yogi would have been blamed for security failures, giving anti-India elements fresh ammunition to attack Sanatana Dharma and its largest festival.

ISI’s Hand Behind Babbar Khalsa’s Operations

Lajar Masih was not a lone wolf. He was a trained operative of Babbar Khalsa International, a terror outfit funded and guided by Pakistan’s ISI. His mission? To infiltrate high-security zones, facilitate attacks, and destabilize India’s internal peace. The police recovered:

  • Three active hand grenades
  • Two active detonators
  • A foreign-made pistol
  • Thirteen cartridges
  • A mysterious white explosive powder

Thus, showing how Pakistan’s terror networks were desperate to undermine India’s ability to host a grand and safe religious event. The success of Mahakumbh cements India’s image as a harmonious, culturally rich, and globally respected nation. And this is something Islamist and Khalistani radicals cannot tolerate.

Babbar Khalsa’s Growing Threat in India

Babbar Khalsa International, a designated terrorist organization, has long been the ISI’s pawn in its anti-India operations. The group’s radicalized members have carried out attacks, targeted killings, and arms smuggling to revive the Khalistan movement.

The fact that Masih had escaped judicial custody in Punjab in 2024 raises serious concerns about internal sleeper cells operating under the radar.

With explosives and foreign-made weapons found in his possession, was he planning a large-scale attack at Mahakumbh? Indian security forces remain on high alert. However, this arrest underscores the urgent need for a complete crackdown on ISI-sponsored terror networks. The Modi-Yogi administration has delivered a strong message with this Mahakubh 2025!

Sanatana Dharma will not be silenced, and terror will not succeed in India.
